1. General Terms
By using the services of KLP Shipping ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms outline the obligations of both parties in facilitating the shipping of goods.
2. Service Selection
When submitting address details on various online stores, customers must specify their preferred shipping method—Air or Sea—in Address Line 2, for example, “KLPS000 SEA”. Failure to do so may result in delays or misprocessing of the shipment.
3. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping times vary depending on the chosen method (Air or Sea) and destination.
Estimated delivery times are provided as guidelines and are subject to external factors beyond our control.
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, weather conditions, or third-party carriers.
4. Storage Fees
Customers must collect their shipment within 14 days of arrival at the designated pickup/delivery location.
After the 14-day period, a daily storage fee of $200.00 JMD will apply until the shipment is collected. For example, if 5 days have passed and the package has not been collected, the fee is now $1,000.00 (200 × 5).
If a shipment remains uncollected for an extended period, additional actions, including disposal or auction, may be taken at our discretion.
5. Invoice Submission
All invoices must be uploaded at the time of receiving an email stating that the package has arrived at the warehouse.
Failure to upload the invoice may result in shipment delays or refusal of service.
The invoice must accurately reflect the items being shipped and their declared value for customs clearance.
6. Liability and Responsibility
KLP Shipping is not liable for lost, damaged, or delayed shipments due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.
Customers are responsible for ensuring their shipment complies with local and international shipping regulations.
7. Payment and Fees
All fees must be paid in full before shipment is processed.
Additional charges may apply for storage, customs clearance, or other unforeseen costs.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
Once a shipment has been processed, cancellations may not be possible.
Refunds are only applicable in cases of service failure directly caused by KLP Shipping.
9. Amendments
KLP Shipping reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services after any modifications indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
